Wendy Steger

Pastor

Pastor Wendy Steger has been a pastor in the ELCA since 2017. She and her husband Don Steger live in Eagan, where they raised their three children. Wendy is passionate about preaching God’s word in a way that makes sense for today’s world. She prioritizes relationships, outreach, and putting faith into action in our community. Wendy’s hobbies and interests include spending time with family and friends, hiking, pickleball, and spoiling her dog Ozzy.

Julie Ramirez

Director of Ministry

Julie received her certification in Youth and Family Ministry in 2010 but has worked with youth in various church settings for 20+ years. She currently oversees the ministry of ages 0-18, including Sunday School and Youth Crew as well as church communications and facilities management. She lives in Bloomington with her husband, daughter, and their super mutt. Julie is passionate about getting to know the young people and their families, and supporting their spiritual growth, partnering with them as they explore their individual faith journeys, and celebrating the milestones along their path.

Abby Carter

Director of Music

READ BIO

Abby Carter holds a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from St. Olaf College, and is currently working on her Masters of Music in Conducting at the University of Minnesota. Abby has been engaging in church music for her whole life, beginning by playing in her mother’s children’s chimes choir when she was five. She believes that music not only enhances the worship experience, but also creates a deep sense of comfort, community, belonging, and understanding throughout a congregation. Outside of work, Abby loves singing Bach arias, working on her piano and organ skills, playing board games with her friends and family, exploring the outdoors, and reading a book with a cup of tea!

Kellie LeClair

Kellie LeClair has over 45 years of experience as a Collaborative Pianist. She began playing piano & organ in church at the age of 12 and earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the University of MN School of Music. Kellie has experience in varied styles of church music, including classical & contemporary, gospel & jazz. She has two adult sons, Josh & Logan and is excited to have a new granddaughter. She enjoys gardening & lawn work, birds, books & being a life-long musician.
