Loved

Kristine Carlson is a devoted follower of Christ at All Saints Lutheran Church. However, this hasn’t always been her situation. For twelve years prior to her introduction to All Saints, Kristine was feeling disenchanted and abandoned by church. Although she maintained a spiritual connection with God, her faith journey had stalled. She didn’t think she would ever find a faith community that would help her heal and find her way back to worship.

One Sunday morning during Covid, she walked past the church and heard people rejoicing in song and worshiping outside. The church seemed like the inclusive community she was looking for, so she decided to stop in one time and give it a try. On her first visit, she and her family were warmly greeted by many wonderful people. When they returned for a second visit, the pastor remembered her daughter’s name and again greeted them with a big smile.

Becoming a member of All Saints Lutheran Church has enabled Kristine to recommit to her faith journey. She feels loved and like she has become a better person. She has been able to embrace her faith and share the love of Jesus as a follower of Christ. She has returned to the
church and discovered friendship and love. She is forever grateful to All Saints for reconnecting her family to their faith.
