Reading for our next book discussion on March 6, 2023:

Lift Every Voice, A Celebration of Black Lives. This book is a collection of more than 50 interviews with remarkable women and men in the oldest generation of Black Americans. This tells their stories of struggle and determination to “simply do ordinary things and be treated in ordinary ways”. The book’s forward is by Oprah Winfrey who states, “when we can lift every voice, we forge a deep and enduring connection to the past and carve a tunnel of hope to a brighter future for us all.” All are invited to join us in reading, and all are welcome for the discussion. Monday March 6th at 6:45pm at All Saints.
