Our Staff

Pastor Wendy Steger joined All Saints Lutheran Church in February, 2021, and has been a pastor in the ELCA since 2017. She and her husband Don Steger live in Eagan, where they raised their three children. Wendy is passionate about preaching God’s word in a way that makes sense for today’s world. She prioritizes relationships, outreach, and putting faith into action in our community. Wendy’s hobbies and interests include spending time with family and friends, hiking, skiing, a book club, and spoiling her dog Ozzy.

Julie rejoined the All Saints staff in April 2024 after a 5-year hiatus from this role, which she had for 7 years prior. She received her certification in Youth and Family Ministry in 2010 but has worked with youth in various church settings for 20+ years. She currently oversees the ministry of ages 0-18, including Sunday School and Youth Crew. She lives in Bloomington with her husband, daughter, and their super mutt. Julie is passionate about getting to know the young people and their families, and supporting their spiritual growth, partnering with them as they explore their individual faith journeys, and celebrating the milestones along their path. Her free time is spent at home relaxing or with her extended family.

As Operations Manager, Kia is responsible for all things office related. She oversees Sunday worship materials, as well as facilitating all communications coming from the church office. She serves as financial secretary, maintains the church calendar, and anything else in the office. Kia is a mother of (3) college age children (Hayley, Austin & Corinne). She and her husband Sam live in Highland Park with their pack of (4) Mini Dachshunds and a very large rescue cat. In her spare time she loves to garden, read, relax with her dogs and maintain her yoga practice.

Thomas McCarthy joined All Saints Lutheran Church in February of 2024, and has been directing church choirs since 2022. He currently lives in Northfield, where he is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Church Music, but is originally from Corrales, New Mexico. Thomas is a tenor in the St. Olaf Choir and the Director of The Christiansen Choir, a student-led ensemble dedicated to preserving works of the Lutheran choral tradition. In his free time, Thomas enjoys playing card games and exploring Minnesota with his girlfriend, Hannah.

Kellie LeClair, Piano Accompanist has over 45 years of experience as a Collaborative Pianist, playing for choirs & soloists at various Churches, Colleges, High Schools, and for Community Choirs, Weddings & Funerals. She began playing piano & organ in church at the age of 12 and earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the University of MN School of Music. Kellie has served as a Collaborative Pianist for the Choir and Band Students at Eastview High School in Apple Valley since 2006 and has been the Piano Accompanist for the Eastview Choir Concerts for the past 12 years. She also served as the Piano Accompanist for the Jordan, MN High School Choir Concerts for 11 years and for Allegro Choral Academy for 12 years. Kellie has experience in varied styles of Church Music, including Classical & Contemporary, Gospel & Jazz. She also has several years of experience playing piano/keyboard with a Praise Team. Kellie was born & raised in Red Wing, MN and is a 30-year resident of Eagan. She has two adult sons, Josh & Logan and is excited to welcome her first granddaughter this year! She enjoys gardening & lawn work, birds, books & being a life-long musician. Kellie is so grateful for her new position at All Saints.
